Who we are

Nacional Records is an independent record label founded in 2005, based in Los Angeles. Nacional is home to Rock, Hip Hop, Electronica, Musica Mexicana,Pop and other diverse sounds from around the world and sometimes down the block.  After 20 years of laying the foundation, what was once the alternative in Latin music is now the mainstream. 

Some of our artists past and present include or included: Ana Tijoux, Manu Chao, Bomba Estéreo, Tom Tom Club, La Vida Boheme, Diego Garcia, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Los Amigos Invisibles, Jungle Fire, Nortec Collective, ChocQuibTown, El Mató a Un Policía Motorizado, Alex Anwandter, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Cheo, YADAM, La Dame Blanche, Tomasa del Real, Los Master Plus and so many more amazing artists that you should be discovering.

Nacional, which operates out of a deceptively anonymous Burbank Boulevard edifice across the street from a storefront church and a head shop, exerts an influence over the industry.
