Their New Album ‘Sudamericana’
With a fusion of rock and electronica, ‘Sudamericana‘ is the debut album from indie band Santé Les Amis. Radio station KCRW presented the exclusive debut of the full album stream, and praised the band’s “groovy, disco-inflected songs, suitable for dancing along to or rocking out with. Sounds like Blondie playing a Morricone Spaghetti Western theme.”

Billboard has celebrated their single “Brasil” as one of the “Top 10 Latin Summer Songs of 2014” alongside more mainstream tracks from Enrique Iglesias and Don Omar. Billboard writes, “These Uruguayan electro-rockers have created a summer anthem for Latin Alternative fans with “Brasil.” This fist-pumping, disco-infused track is equally suited to celebrating a win or dancing off a defeat.”
PRI’s “The World” recently interviewed Sante Les Amis about their song “Brasil” in their World Cup preview, after iTunes featured the track as their “Single of the Week” in the US.
Sante Les Amis has toured with Franz Ferdinand, Foals and Calle 13, and is constantly moving around.
