A lot has changed since we last heard from Ms. Tijoux. After her signature song “1977” was featured in Breaking Bad, Ana Tijoux reached a whole new level of mainstream recognition. She’s been mentioned as a favorite by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, she performed “1977” live at Grammy weekend with The Roots as her backing band, and Trey Anastasio from Phish is covering the song on his new tour. She appears on the new Morcheeba record, and was nominated for multiple Grammy’s and Latin Grammy’s for both of her previous two albums.
