Miami’s Elastic Bond Signs To Nacional Records and Announces New Album “Real”

nacional-recordsNacional Records proudly announces the signing of its newest artist Elastic Bond. This Miami-based crew will release their Nacional Records debut album “Real” on June 25—which will also be available on Amazon and iTunes.

Their music has influences from all across the musical map, some classic and some contemporary. Elastic Bond’s groove includes diverse elements reminiscent of Los Amigos Invisibles, A Tribe Called Quest, Julieta Venegas and The Black Keys.

Elastic Bond is part of new generation of multicultural Latinos who incorporate music from the past in order to make music for the future. With sultry female vocals—similar to those of great performers like Amy Winehouse or Little Dragon—Elastic Bond brings together a retro-futuristic combination of folkloric rhythms and electronic beats.

The album is based on well-crafted pop songs and catchy melodies, with a unique style of urban tropical funk sung in both English and Spanish. There are nods to both classic soul and traditional cumbia, while always staying true to the modern sounds of their diverse hometown of Miami.

On Friday, July 5 they will perform at their “Real” CD release show in their hometown at Performing Arts Exchange (PAX) at 11 p.m. Ticket prices are $15 and includes their CD.

Other Elastic Bond performances scheduled are as follows:

    Sweat Records June 29, 2013 – 5:00 p.m.
