We’re proud to report that MANU CHAO’s Grammy-winning song (and current single) “Me Llaman Calle” was TIME Magazine’s #8 Top Song of 2007!!!! Check it out here.
“Me Llaman Calle” was also chosen as one of the Top 10 songs of the year on NPR.org. Manu is all over the place on various “Top of 2007” lists for “La Radiolina”. Vote for him on WNYC.org here.

Also on the decks, check out DJ BITMAN’s “Latin Bitman”. eMusic made “My Computer is Funk” a free daily download last week and LAist.com ran a great review on their blog – check it out. DJ Bitman will be running full-steam ahead in 2008, with new singles and new videos coming to you!
MEXICAN INSTITUTE OF SOUND (MIS) finished a mini coast-to-coast visit in the US last week for Naco Nights in New York City and a special event in Los Angeles. Check out the latest single “Escribeme Pronto” and the exclusive video [you see it first!] at youtube.com. In other delicious news, MIS was featured in the December issue of Bon Appetit Magazine’s list of “Top Party Music” for the song, “El Microfono” off of his latest album, Piñata. How tasty!
ATERCIOPELADOS were honored by Colombia’s Ministry of Culture among the top figures of Colombian culture in the last decade. Check out the full article here. Congratulations! Aterciopelados will also be back in Spain at the top of 2008, with dates in Madrid [January 3rd] and La Rioja [January 4th]; as well as a date in Costa Rica on January 25th.

In other great news for 2008, we’re excited to present the latest project by SEÑOR FLAVIO [of Fabulosos Cadillacs fame], called “Super Saund 2012” – get plugged in at his Myspace page and get ready for an amazing good time.
TODOS TUS MUERTOS’ MySpace has been updated, featuring songs off their “Greatest Hits” album, due out February 19th. Make sure you add them and help spread the word! Can’t wait to see where TTM will tour in 2008? – check out this video of the group in Barcelona from earlier this year: www.youtube.com.
And finally, THE PINKER TONES, who are gearing up for the early 2008 release of their new studio album, “WILD ANIMALS”, were featured on Link TV. Check out the exclusive commentary on their innovative videos from the album “The Million Colour Revolution” - we can’t wait to see what videos the boys from Barcelona come up with next…GRRRR!
