Nacional Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of ‘BiMexicano: Nuestros Clasicos Hechos Rock.’ The album celebrates the Mexican Bicentennial (200 years of independence) with tributes to classic mexican songs, composers and performers that make up the country’s rich musical history. It will be released at iTunes on September 7th, all other digital stores on September 14th and physically on November 9th.

Participating iconic artists span across latin rock history including Jaguares, Enrique Bunbury, Aterciopelados, Senor Flavio (Los Fabulosos Cadillacs) and Kinky. The tracks are standards like “La Llorona”, “La Martiniana”, “El Son de la Negra”, “Sombras”, “Un Mundo Raro”, “Bésame Mucho”, “Cielo Rojo”, and “De Qué Manera Te Olvido.”

Nacional Records is proud to announce the September 14^th release of the new album from Nortec Collective’s Bostich + Fussible called ‘Bulevar 2000.’ The album is the follow-up to the duo’s GRAMMY-nominated release ‘Tijuana Sound Machine.’While ‘Tijuana Sound Machine’ was a trip around the city, ‘Bulevar 2000’ follows the car leaving Tijuana on one of its most notorious streets. In fact, the car from ‘Tijuana Sound Machine’ passed by this place and several of its police check-point recordings were included on the previous album.

The new album’s lead single “I Count The Ways” is one of the group’s most developed songs lyrically and with featured vocals by Kylee Swenson of the San Francisco-based indie electro pop act Loquat.

Nacional Records is proud to present Polock, from Spain’s Mediterranean coastal city of Valencia. As one of Spain’s most important indie buzz acts, Polock has quickly become renowned for their contagious hooks and melodies. In the past year, Polock has played major stages like Europe’s premiere indie rock festival Primavera Sound as well as the MTV Winter Festival with Franz Ferdinand and Starsailor.

Getting Down From The Trees’ was recorded over two months in a Berlin studio after the group spent a year writing the album in Spain. “We thought it was time for a change of scenery,” says Papu Sebastián, Polock’s lead singer and primary songwriter. The idea of being so far from our world, to work exclusively on our songs, seduced us. We all knew Berlin and its underground movement; it’s such a mysterious and spectacular city. So after giving it some thought, we knew that it would be the perfect environment to give birth to these songs.
