Friday February 12 Clandestino Presents: Fiesta de San Valentin: and it will be the Official Listening Party for Los Fabulosos Cadillacs’ Tribute Album ‘Vos Sabes‘ + ChocQuibTown - ‘Oro‘ in Cambridge, MA. The band RADAR will also be providing some live music. It’s all going down THIS Friday at Tommy Doyle’s - 96 Winthrop St. @ Harvard Square - 9 PM $10, after 10 PM $15

Saturday February 13 Nacotheque Presents: ‘Quieres ser mi Valentine?’ Amongst guest DJs and FREE chelas & vodka from 11 PM - 12 AM, they are hosting a Banda de Turistas - ‘Magical Radiophonic Heart‘ + Los Fabulosos Cadillacs’ Tribute Album ‘Vos Sabes‘ listening party. Live in New York? Check it out THIS Saturday at Fontana’s - 105 Eldridge St!

Sunday Feb 14 - Track 78 Presents an Official Listening Party for Los Fabulosos Cadillacs’ Tribute Album ‘Vos Sabes‘. Come out to San Diego and check out LECHE, Los Hollywood, and Mucho Musica’s DJ Pixtu held at the Beauty Bar! Check out the event page on Facebook.

Mexico City is the second major Latin American city to legalize same-sex marriages. The city approved revisions to the civil code to permit same-sex marriages 39 to 20 and legalized adoption 31to 24. This is great news and an advancement for Mexico City. Viva Mexico! What’s going on EE.UU? We’re laggin!

The infamous Toy Selectah has remixed many artists before – different styles, sounds, and genres. Our fellow regio has surprised us by remixing a song from fellow New York indie band Vampire Weekend. Their first single was called “Orchata” — hm, do I smell some culture trade-off/mix-up? It doesn’t matter because we love his “Cousinz” remix!

Aterciopelados are doing it once again! Spreading the word of peace and love. Tomorrow, Aterciopelados will be performing for ‘Marcha Mundial por la Paz y la No Violencia’ at Parque Simon Bolívar in Bogotá.
